The volumetric model of the Pentasystem is built on the basis of the dodecahedron, one "hemisphere" of which describes the macrocosm, the other - the microcosm. Below are the necessary materials and recommendations for printing and assembling the model - in several versions: color and black-and-white.

The figure can be made of different materials: both from standard sheets of paper with black-and-white printing, and on thick sheets (200-300g/m2) with color printing and lamination. Having a scoring board for precise bending of the material, a beautiful version is possible on thick paper with matte lamination (the material is similar to the pages of a menu in a cafe). It is advisable to use colorless glue that does not set instantly, so that it is possible to more accurately adjust the parts during the process. It is also possible to use thin double-sided adhesive tape.

Before assembling, the faces of the figure should be cut out of paper and the petals, where present, should be carefully bent.

Assembly order:

  • Starting from face #1, its petal number 2 is glued to face #2 in the place marked: "To face #1"
  • Next, face #3 is glued to the petals of faces #1 and #2 under number 3 in the places marked: "To face #1" and "To face #2" respectively
  • Face #4 is glued to the petals of faces #1 and #3 under number 4 in the places marked: "To face #1" and "To face #3" respectively
  • And so on
